FAQ
Common questions.
Do you charge for estimates?
Diagnostic visits for a repair carry a standard trip/diagnostic fee, which is waived if you move forward with the repair. Estimates for full system replacement are free.
How fast can you get here for a no-heat or no-cool emergency?
Most emergency calls in Colorado Springs proper are seen same-day, often within a few hours. Outlying areas like Woodland Park or Black Forest may run slightly longer depending on the route already in progress.
What brands do you install and service?
We're a Trane Comfort Specialist dealer and install Trane as our primary line, but our technicians service and repair all major brands — whatever's already in your home.
How do I know if I should repair or replace my system?
Rough rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than a third of a new system's price and your unit is past 12–15 years old, replacement usually makes more sense. Below that, repair is almost always the better value. We'll give you both numbers and let you decide either way.
What's included in the Summit Comfort Club?
A spring AC tune-up, a fall furnace tune-up, priority scheduling ahead of non-members, 15% off repairs, and no overtime or emergency-call fees. See the Maintenance Plans page for details.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — Summit Home Comfort is a licensed, bonded, and insured HVAC contractor in Colorado, and every technician on the truck is NATE-certified.
What areas do you serve?
Colorado Springs, Monument, Fountain, Woodland Park, Falcon, Black Forest, and Manitou Springs. Not sure if you're in range? Call the office and we'll tell you straight.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, for full system replacements and major repairs, through a third-party financing partner. Ask your technician about current terms when they quote the job.
